Money is one of those forbidden topics. Along with politics and religion, you’re not supposed to talk about money in most settings. At least, that is what I have always been told. I guess it’s because so many of us have such a charged and difficult relationship with money. Those of us who do not have it tend to envy those of us who do have it.
